My lectures and classroom activities include a wide range of ideas, experiences, knowledge that fuel interest and motivation in my students. I do my best to ensure that my students

  • engage fully in classroom transactions and activities reflect upon their experiences on the courses I offer and identifying their contributions and those of others
  • are exposed to views and ideas that challenge their own
  • respect the views of others and are prepared to listen to them, consider them, and analyze them objectively
  • develop a passion for the chosen domains in the field of their study
  • acquire a profound sense of literary, theoretical and cultural understanding
  • internalize the values of a secular institution and display tolerance
  • and respect toward each other regardless of their religious belief including those who have no religious beliefs
