Research & Projects
The research focuses on the biology of aging, longevity, frailty, dementia. This work involves using multi-omics approaches to understand the genetic and molecular underpinnings of health and disease in older adults. Previous postdoctoral work at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine centered on the biology of aging at both proteomic and genetic levels. Key projects included establishing a proteomic aging clock (PAC) to predict mortality and health outcomes, identifying proteomic changes associated with frailty and aging, and collaborating on landmark studies published in Nature and Nature Medicine to establish organ-specific aging clocks and map proteomic changes across the human lifespan.I have been part of multiple NIH funded projects.
