History

The Department of Mass Communication was established in the year 2010, Dr. P.P Shaju, an Academician, was the first Course Director, and in 2012 Mr. V.H. Nishad, was appointed as the Course Director. So many academic and professional programmes had been conducted during these periods. Since 2014 Mr. Prasannan Anandan had been appointed as the Course Director. The Department has all the basic facilities to impart academic and professional training in Mass Communication and Journalism. The department has been actively participating in all the academic and professional programmes since its inception.
